An extremely rare example of crystallised Tapiolite from the Baixão da Laje mine in Grande do Norte, Brazil. This is a seldom seen iron-manganese niobate-tantalate and this small miniature displays several fine crystal faces. The Tapiolite is a dense black metallic mass with many iridescent faces and a little included milky Quartz. This is a species very rarely seen in private collections, making this an excellent opportunity to acquire a fine example.
