A superb small cabinet specimen of lustrous Les Farges mine Pyromorphite displaying excellent large (to over 1 cm in length) beige crystals with mustard yellow terminations. The whole specimen is made of Pyromorphite, giving it a substantial 'dense' feel of quality. The Pyromorphite crystals have real character to them, possibly due to their size, but also the colour zoning and complex growth patterns displayed. Les Farges mine has produced thousands of Pyromorphite specimens, many with very different colours and forms, but for me these huge, beige and yellow zoned crystals are the most iconic. A specimen of real quality and with no discernable damage.
