A lovely miniature of intergrown, lustrous, black bladed H'bnerite crystals measuring to 2.6 cm, nicely contrasting against a white-creamy bed of glassy prismatic milky Quartz crystals, with occasional metallic yellow Pyrite crystals. From Baia Sprie in Maramure? County, Romania, this is a superb example of well crystallised H'bnerite, the manganese end member of the Mn-Fe tungstate series.
