A part-rectangular block of mixed Proustite and Galena from the P?'bram mining district in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. A 2 x 1 cm area on top of the specimen is covered with terminated globular Proustite crystals, many showing their associated ruby-red colour but, in the main, are oxidised to a metallic silver-black. What could be termed the matrix appears to be a complex mix of Proustite and Galena, but given a common patina, the two are difficult to differentiate. A rich and interesting specimen of this silver sulphosalt from P?'bram.
