Smithsonite on Coronadite$4,500.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
Tightly packed botryoidal druses of translucent light grey Smithsonite almost entirely obscure the top surface of a deep grey-black Coronadite matrix from the MMM mine at Broken Hill, Australia. This magnificent specimen epitomises the world-class stature of Broken Hill Smithsonite and aptly displays its characteristic silky bright lustre. The Broken Hill ore deposit is hosted within a long anticline, so many mines were required to exploit the rich ore along the line-of-lode. The MMM mine is one of its most famous localities and this Smithsonite wonderfully representative.
