A beautiful large miniature composed of an Amethyst Quartz sceptre with at least three epitaxial attached double-terminated Quartz crystals. This specimen is from the Chiredzi mining district in Masvingo Province, Zimbabwe, an area also known as the Hartley mining district. The sceptre itself has a double terminated head 4.5 cm long with a hexagonal, milky Quartz stem. All the double terminated crystals display various intensities of Amethyst purple, ranging from almost colourless to intense lavender and violet.
