NATIVE Gold
The richness of Native Gold found at the Brusson mine in Aosta Valley, Italy is some of the finest known from Europe and always attracts attention. Its allure comes from the way the Gold crystallizes in quite large sculptural hackley masses which when prepared properly sit spectacularly on top of islands of white Milky Quartz. Rich specimens are uncommon. This small cabinet-sized display specimen features two main areas of hackley Native Gold protruding from a thin 'fin' of white Quartz. The largest area of Native Gold measures 3.2 cm across and displays really well. A very rich Italian Native Gold from Dr. Snizek's collection.
