Quartz var. Rose Quartz
A magnificent cabinet specimen of delicate pink intergrown Rose Quartz crystals draped across the lower half of a terminated milky Quartz crystal. From Taquaral, in the Jequitinhonha valley of Minas Gerais, Brazil, the Rose Quartz forms a lustrous cluster to 4.9 x 3 cm covering part of a colourless to milky white terminated Quartz crystal measuring to 8.2 cm tall. Unlike massive Rose Quartz, Rose Quartz crystals are rare and this is an excellent specimen of this most sought after variety from Taquaral in Brazil.
