Vivid chartreuse green crystals of Pyromorphite richly coat the flat iron-stained surface of a dense Quartz matrix from the Pribram mining district in the Czech Republic. The Pyromorphite prisms are tiny, averaging 2 to 4 mm long and often slightly barrel-shaped showing a mild bulge in their centre. Rare prisms display a hopper structure in the termination and all have a bright glassy lustre. Their colour is an intense leafy chartreuse with a deeper forest green, matt termination. A great Pyromorphite from Pribram.
