Nagyagite with Quartz$5,000.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
This miniature specimen of the rare lead-gold-tellurium-antimony-sulphur mineral Nagyagite is a European classic. From the Type Locality of the same name, Sacarîmb (Nagyág), Romania the Nagyagite forms rich bladed crystals (some to over 1 cm in length) in parallel growths with a bright metallic silvery-grey colour densely aggregated over a white vein of drusy Quartz. Despite most of these specimens having been found in the 19th century they remain the finest examples of this unusual species. The crystals of Nagyagite here are unusually freestanding - normally they lay flat on the surface - associated with micro orange-brown crystals of Sphalerite and light biscuit coloured 'Dolomite'. An extremely fine specimen from the renowned collection of Professor Werner Paar.
