Diamond (Single Octahedral Crystal)
A gem quality, slightly yellow, natural octahedral Diamond crystal with the minute development of cubic faces, measuring overall to approximately 6 mm and weighting 0.3 g / 1.5 carats. This striking specimen is from the Udachnaya-Vostochnaya Pipe in Russia, a deposit formed from two intersecting Kimberlite pipes intruded into a Lower Ordovician limestone. This fine example of Diamond from Russia is supplied in a padded plastic gem case and will make a fabulous addition to any element, systematic, gem or Russian collection.
