Cuprite on Chrysocolla$2,500.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
This colourful miniature from Mashamba West mine in the Kolwezi mining district in the DR Congo, provides real 'wow' factor. Glossy, deep blood-red octahedral Cuprite crystals sit upon a striking vivid turquoise blue-green globular Chrysocolla surface coating. One of the Cuprite crystals reaches over 1.6 cm across, but most are much smaller - in the region of 5 mm. The larger crystal is not damaged, but is not perfectly formed because of how it has crystallized upon the Chrysocolla. It does however still have good shape. Many of the smaller octahedral Cuprite crystals are clustered near to the top of the specimen and are stacked upon each other in an unusual arrangement. A colourful and attractive grouping of copper minerals.
