Wire transfers available, to set up
An excellent specimen of iridescent pale brassy Cubanite from Henderson No. 2 mine at Chibougamau in Qu'bec, Canada. This mine exploits an anorthosite-hosted copper-gold deposit and is famous for its Cubanite crystals, formed in late-stage Calcite lined shear-fractures. The crystals are up to 1.7 x 1.3 x 0.4 cm, the larger crystals displaying strongly chevroned growth patterns across their faces. The Cubanite overgrows and pervades a mixed Quartz and Cubanite matrix. A rare sulphide occurring in fine displayable crystals and from the Dr Josef Clemente Collection of southern Germany.
