A flat plate of black, micro-pisolitic Goethite, richly coated with glassy Cerussite (lead carbonate) blades to around 8 mm tall and occasionally up to 1 cm, form stellate reticulated clusters and individual 'V' twined spears. A rich Cerussite from Rosenberg mine, Braubach, Bad Ems, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, just south of Koblenz. The two opposite faces of the matrix are equally rich in Cerussite, making it displayable from either side.
