A showy miniature of intergrown, translucent purple Fluorite crystals measuring to 2.5 cm on a white-colourless crystallised Quartz matrix. This pair of interpenetrant cubic crystals is from the Berbes mining area, approximately mid-way along Spain’s northern Atlantic coast. The Fluorite is translucent and varies in colour from deep blackberry purple to intense lilac, especially when back-lit. The specimen comes on a square transparent acrylic base.
