A beautiful miniature group of reasonably gemmy, deep azure-blue Azurite crystals in broadly flattened platy crystals, aligned sub-parallel to each other and attached to a tiny patch of Calcite and Smithsonite crystals. The largest Azurite measures 2.5 x 2.2 x 0.6 mm. All crystals have very minor nicks along their razor-sharp edges, but these are very much at the micro-scale. In transmitted light, many zones of the various crystals show the characteristic electric-blue which never fails to provide that big Wow factor! A lovely Tsumeb Azurite.
