Aragonite
A very characteristic miniature specimen of semi-transparent Aragonite forming as two well-developed, steep pyramidal crystals in parallel growth with typical 'Limonitic' inclusions. From the Frizington mining district in Cumbria, the tallest crystal measures 5.5 cm and displays beautifully leaning at about 30 degrees from the vertical. The specimen is accompanied with a Fred Meissner (Denver, Colorado) label, a former Professor at the Colorado School of Mines.
