A beautifully aesthetic group of velvety, botryoidal Mimetite crystals covering a spongy orange-tan Limonite matrix from San Pedro Corralitos in Chihuahua, Mexico. Individual spheres are typically 6 to 10 mm in diameter and vary in colour from zesty-lemon to a rich egg yolk-yellow. Some botryoidal groups show a marked colour change dividing the spheres into two distinct coloured hemispheres. A choice and miniature of this habit and beautiful colour of Mimetite from San Pedro Corralitos, Mexico.
