Pyrargyrite$2,000.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
This fine specimen consists entirely of interlocking lustrous and sharp Pyrargyrite crystals from the Schneeberg district in Erzgebirge, Saxony, Germany. The Pyrargyrite, a silver sulphosalt, was commonly known as ruby silver or dark red silver ore, especially by the early miners. Once you watch the video you will notice some of the crystals are blocky and equant whilst others are elongated to over 2 cm (!) and the specimen displays well from several different angles. This is an impressive Ruby-Silver in superb condition, with the added kudos of being from the upper western Ore Mountains of Schneeberg, mined since the Middle Ages and probably earlier.
