A superb large miniature of Pyromorphite displaying excellent development of hopper crystals, stepped growth and one cavity also showing a form of stalactitic-ribbon growth. Spain has numerous localities famed for superb Pyromorphite and this specimen is from the San Andrés mine at Espiel, in Córdoba, Andalusia, in southern-central Spain. Although Pyromorphite has been known from this locality since the first half of the twentieth century it was not until the beginning of the 1980s that good specimens were recovered. This Pyromorphite is a most attractive light creamy green grading to bright yellowish lime-green. A beautiful specimen from the San Andres mine, Spain.
