This is a rare combination specimen with black lustrous nagyagite crystals poking through a rhodochrosite crystal covered quartz crystal matrix! Normally the nagyagite crystals are totally enclosed with rhodochrosite but in this case they are free standing. This weas mined in the early 1800's and has survived well.
