Richly intergrown lustrous metallic grey platy pseudohexagonal crystals of Polybasite measuring to 3mm abundantly cover the display face of a fawn coloured crystalline Siderite matrix. Rare associated crystals of probable Proustite with areas of Sphalerite are also intergrown with the Polybasite. From the silver mining area of Freiberg in Germany, a rich Polybasite from the area and comes with an old handwritten label.
