Description
A very pleasing specimen of intergrown scalenohedral multi-terminated crystals of Calcite from the 300ft Level, Bage Mine, Break Vein, Derbyshire collected in 1992. a very fine and rare specimen from the mine. Crystals of Calcite measuring to 9.5cm are translucent to near gemmy at the terminations with a hint of yellow colour. Some white Baryte in seen on the underside of the specimen.
