A choice large miniature of gemmy sea-green Fluorite crystals from the Heights Quarry by Eastgate in Weardale, County Durham. The perfectly formed cubic crystals have razor-sharp edges and glassy, reflective faces. This is an unusual colour for Heights, where the fluorite is typically emerald-green. The largest crystal measures 1.7 cm on edge and the group on a thin but strong matrix of micro-gemmy Quartz crystals.
