Mimetite var. CAMPYLITE
A terrific specimen of highly lustrous, burnt toffee-orange Campylite crystals, the phosphorus-rich variety of Mimetite from the world-famous Dry Gill mine in the Caldbeck Fells of Cumbria, England. The curved barrel-shaped crystals average around 5 mm diameter and almost completely cover a flat plate of sooty matt black wad (manganese oxides) and likely Coronadite. An eye-catching miniature.
