A miniature plate of very nicely crystallised Quartz, variety Amethyst, from Bansk' 'tiavnica (Schemnitz) in Slovakia. The crystals are all about 1 cm tall; each is slightly separated from the next and all graduate from mid-lilac to a Royal purple termination. A most attractive Slovakian Amethyst.
