Bustamite with Spessartine Garnet
A characteristic specimen of highly lustrous, cherry pink Bustamite displaying the typical prismatic rounded crystal from the North mine at Broken Hill, Yancowinna County, New South Wales, Australia. Bustamite is a calcium manganese inosilicate and a member of the Wollastonite group and in this fine miniature is associated with deep root beer-orange crystals of Spessartine Garnet. A Broken Hill classic from one of the Earth's most ancient mineral deposits.
