Unusual diamond-shaped platy Baryte crystals measuring to 1 cm with a light brown colour and preferentially coated by a thin druse of Pyrite microcrystals coats a thin plate of Quartz from the Zobes-Bergen District in Saxony, Germany. On the reverse of the specimen are seen deeply grooved areas in Quartz partly filled with Pyrite.
