A brilliant bubble gum pink shell of Cobaltoan Dolomite covers a core of translucent milky-white Calcite from the Tsumeb mine in Namibia. The Cobaltoan Dolomite appears to have filled void space between the inner Calcite core and some now long since dissolved unknown mineral, the casts of whose crystals are still present in the Dolomite morphology and texture.
