A neat specimen of Fluorite from the classic British area of Weardale, Co Durham. Very lustrous crystals of Fluorite are mostly gemmy purple with deeper purple internal zones. The crystals of Fluorite show interpenetrate twinning, and measure to 2.8cm on edge. A gemmy to translucent matrix of pyramidal Quartz crystals supports the crystals of Fluorite.
