Fabulous flesh-pink tinged Calcite crystals form a hedgehog-like group of spiky elongated scalenohedral crystals, typically of between 2 and 5 cm long. Each individual crystal is built from acicular, needle-like Calcite crystals which provide an aesthetic parallel texture, enhanced even more by the pink blush and a light, but most pleasing, sprinkle of golden sucrosic Pyrite.
