A most attractive miniature of bright, lustrous Cuprite crystals on white Calcite from the famous Tsumeb mine in the Oshikoto Region of Namibia. Octahedral Cuprite crystals, measuring up to just over 3 mm, form a tightly packed cluster, with crystals heaped upon one another. The Cuprite is principally silver, yet displays areas of maroon red with bright red flashes, particularly from the micro-sized Cuprite crystals which are more translucent.\n
