A classic specimen of gemmy Calcite crystals from The Pallaflat mine to the west of Biggrigg village in Cumbria. The specimen displays a forest of intergrown colourless Calcite crystals measuring to 1.8cm. On a compact granular light brown Limonitic matrix. A fine specimen from a mine closed in 1914.
