Millerite
A very rich specimen of Millerite from the Friedrich Mine, Wissen, Germany. The Millerite forms a dense forest of intergrown acicular crystals measuring to nearly 1cm, with a bright metallic bronzey-yellow colour, adorning both sides of the specimen. Several clusters of the Millerite crystals display a wheat-sheaf or diagonal cross habit. Small micro-octahedral-cubic crystals of Galena are sparsely intergrown with the Millerite. An excellent specimen from the Friedrich Mine.
