A bright metallic silvery-grey crystal of Acanthite measuring to nearly 5mm sits neatly at the front of a long platy Calcite crystal-lined cavity, a further Acanthite crystal measuring 2mm is seen in another Calcite cavity, with partly formed Acanthite ones also on the specimen. From the Vater Abraham Mine, Lauta, Germany.
