A most pleasing miniature of Malachite from the Ocna de Fier iron-copper skarn deposit in the Banat mountains of Romania. Well-developed bluish-leaf green botryoidal Malachite covers two opposite sides of a dark chocolate brown Goethite matrix displaying characteristic radial banding around the edges of the Malachite. A thin crust of bright spring leaf Malachite coats much of the Malachite's surface. A rich specimen of Malachite from Ocna de Fier.
