Description
An excellent wire specimen of Native Silver from the famous Uchucchacua mine, Peru. The Native Silver wire measures to 6 cm long, with other wires measuring to 1 cm. Displayed to advantage, the Native Silver wires have a light pinkish silver patina to them. A matrix of vitreous black Mn-Fe oxides with pink-tinted Calcite hosts the wires of Native Silver. A great specimen of Silver from this mine.
