Beryl Var. Aquamarine with Muscovite
A superb crystal of delicately coloured, light blue Aquamarine, finely positioned amongst platy crystals of white to pale brown tan Muscovite. The Beryl crystal measures to a good 10 cm across (yes, 10 cm!) with many gemmy zones with areas of good translucency. From Mount Xuebaoding in Pingwu County, Sichuan, China. This is an excellent large cabinet specimen from Mount Xuebaoding and displays perfectly, perched on and surrounded by the well crystallised Muscovite matrix.
