Smithsonite on Coronadite
A classic Broken Hill specimen of sparkling lustrous translucent white Smithsonite crystals on matt grey stalactitic Coronadite. The Smithsonite forms intergrown rounded forms, each several millimetres across, coalesced to form a larger coating measuring 5.5 cm x 2.4 cm overall predominantly on one side of the specimen. This specimen is from the famous Milton Lavers Broken Hill collection and was found at the Proprietary mine, Broken Hill, Australia.
