Description
A part cubic crystal of mottled purple and milky white Fluorite from Blackdene mine by the village of Ireshopeburn in Weardale, County Durham. The back of the crystal is cleaved and its faces display complexly patterned surfaces of multiple stepped growth. Under LWUV the entire crystal fluoresces bright purple mottled lavender-white.
