A small beautiful miniature of rhombohedral Calcite on a elegantly thin matrix of glassy micro-Quartz crystals. From the Jalgaon District of Maharashtra state in India, the Calcite is transparent with an aesthetic smoky lemon-tan hue; a lustrous glassy surface and the intergrown crystals form a series of ratchet-like steps.
