Smithsonite$1,500.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
A near-perfect sphere of very light pale grey Smithsonite with an attractive satin lustre from the MMM mine at Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia. The point of attachment is marked by a very small plate of a black metallic mineral, most likely Coronadite, a lead-manganese oxide. This colour of Smithsonite is very representative of that from the mines at Broken Hill but is unusual by the near perfect symmetry of the sphere. The specimen is mounted on a small clear acrylic base.
