Celestite on Calcite
Rare gemmy cornflower-blue Celestine (formerly Celestite) measuring to 6 mm form tabular crystals clustered in areas over a crystallized creamy Calcite matrix from the 'pania Dolina area in Slovakia. A specimen quite beautiful for its delicacy and contrast in colour and texture. An old C.F. Pech of Berlin label accompanies this specimen.
