Excellent sharp deep dark olive pseudo-octahedral crystals of Libethenite measuring to over 2mm, are richly intergrown. The crystals of Libethenite are very lustrous, the light sparkling from the many multi-orientated faces. A matrix of mottled green Pseudomalachite, with a whitish rock forms the host for the Libthenite crystals. A specimen from the Katanga Copper Zone, D.R.Congo.
