NATIVE Tellurium$7,500.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
There is no disputing the fact that this historic Romanian specimen is exceptionally rich in the rare metallic element Tellurium. Not only is the specimen richly invested in very bright metallic silver lath-like crystals of Native Tellurium measuring to 2.3 cm, but they cover nearly half of the display face of what is a considerable large miniature specimen with platy metallic dark grey Nagyágite and other undefined Sulphides, with Dolomite/Siderite also present. It is from Sacarîmb (Nagyág) in Romania which was for a long time considered to be the Type Locality of both Nagyágite and Native Tellurium, but reinterpretation of the original accounts of Native Tellurium have shown that Mariahilf mine at Faţa Băii, Zlatna, Alba County, Romania is the most likely original source. Ex Professor Werner Paar Collection and ex Horst Wolle Collection.
