A quite delightful, perfect Adularia crystal with smaller attached crystals to its sides and completely included with blackish-green Chlorite. The specimen is from the Felber valley in Hohe Tauern, Salzburg, Austria. This small miniature is superb for both its perfection and sharpness of the prism and termination edges and for the sparkling quality of the faces mottled with included Chlorite. The Adularia, a variety of potassium feldspar, appears as if filled with dark green Christmas glitter. A gorgeous specimen, one which would be perfect in a display of crystallography and crystal habits.
