Fluorite
Fantastic sharp cubic crystals of yellow Fluorite from the Greenlaws mine, in Weardale, County Durham. The crystals measure up to 2.3 cm on edge forming an intergrown cluster very large miniature to small cabinet in size. The Fluorites are very light yellow with gemmy areas and lustrous faces, some displaying a stepped growth habit. One of the crystals towards the edge of the specimen has a light purple colour zone. The Fluorite crystals have formed on drusy crystals of light tan coloured Siderite. A very different coloured specimen from the Greenlaws mine.
