A highly lustrous Calcite with great aesthetic appeal from the P?'bram mining district in the Czech Republic. Flattened rhombic Calcite crystals form lenticular, saucer-shaped crystals of typically 1 cm diameter. These glassy, colourless transparent 'saucers' are stacked over reddish-pink Calcite crystals that form the matrix and give a warm orange-red glow to the overlying Calcite crystals. A choice miniature Calcite from P?'bram.
