A most aesthetic small cabinet specimen of intergrown rich dark brown to sooty black Siderite crystals on Quartz with Chalcopyrite and Chlorite. We only have the location of Cornwall for this specimen, but it certainly Cornish, displaying all the correct characteristics. The Siderite crystals measure to around 9 mm and display a pronounced saddle habit. Despite being so dark, all the Siderite has a speckled bright lustre and looks terrific set amongst the associated Quartz, Chalcopyrite and green chlorite.
