A magnificent display specimen of intergrown bundles of gemmy, acicular Brochantite crystals from the copper oxide deposits at the Milpillas mine at Cuitaca in Mun. de Santa Cruz, Mexico. The bluish emerald-green Brochantite crystals exhibit a bright glassy lustre and are developed to over 2.5 cm long, forming an ex-matrix, porous, tangled cluster. White granular micro-crystalline Quartz to 8 mm across is sparsely distributed throughout the Brochantite. A superb and beautiful Brochantite from the Milpillas mine in Mexico.
